We are looking for:

An Assistant Manager to integrate our Bermondsey Street branch.

 

We need:

Someone naturally twinkly, enthusiastic, dynamic, meticulous & independent. A person passionate about French and European cuisine but also interested in wines, spirits, and people. Someone who can develop with us, as a small team/company, we are happy to listen to new ideas and projects. 

 

You must have:

• minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in the food/beverage industry

• good knowledge of sales 

• good communication and organization skills

• enthusiasm for the company and products

• strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team

• knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills

• an eye for details

 

You must be:

• fluent in English (strength in wine-food vocabulary would be a plus)

• autonomous - steady - multi-tasking - flexible - resilient - organized

• sales-oriented and motivated to achieve goals and maintain high service standards

• always proactive and professional

• a problem solver

• willing to learn

 

Your missions will be:

• welcoming and assisting customers in their needs or the discovery of Bermondsey Corner

• delivering an amazing customer experience and dealing with customers’ queries

• building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with existing and potential/new customers

• keeping the shop/display attractive and tidy to ensure the visibility of the products

• taking payment through our POS system and using our CRM system

• opening/closing the store with your team following store guidelines

• dealing with weekly supply orders, coordinating deliveries and managing the stock, and performing inventories

• developing a deep understanding of the products in store for wines and cheeses, and others, including tasting notes and origins

• assisting the store manager in placing weekly orders, training new employees and providing guidance to the sales team. You may also be responsible for supervising the team during your shifts

• assisting in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives and promotional events to attract more customers and boost sales
